Unmask
For a long time, Unmask has been a good example of these artists, who give up individual names to show loyalty to their common perspective of art. Using the language of sculpture, they create new ideas and philosophy of art, and present new vision and aesthetics. We can see, from their previous solo shows and works, themes and feelings that are specific to their time, such as narcissism, hermaphroditism, asexual gender, supernatural and science fiction, etc.
The work[s in the series 0degrees] are a metaphor for the current social relationship and the status quo of human’s existence. The artists create a self image that is not realistic, to appease the embarrassment brought by questions that are simply not answerable, in the context of art. It can be regarded as idealism, or a kind of thorough self-exile.
Opening
The opening will be on Friday 29 Juni from 18.00 till 20.30.
Canvas is opened Thursday-Satuday 14.00-18.00 and by appointment.
