Hasan Huseyin Oylum arrived in Bruxelles 2005 with an ambition to study art at Sint Lukas. During this first year he was selected amongst 8 students from the first year students to participate in a two week project at Masereel Centrum for Graphics Arts Residential, where he concentrated on self portraiture, using silk screen technique and other media.
