Bergen Kunsthall

Bergen Kunsthall is one of Norway’s premier arenas for contemporary art. With a variety that spans large solo exhibitions of international and Norwegian artists to curated group exhibitions and thematic productions, Bergen Kunsthall wishes to reflect the latest trends in the art scene. The institution also actively produces its own projects and is in that way an independent player in the development of contemporary art. Although Bergen Kunsthall does not comprise in terms of presenting aesthetically strong exhibitions, it is also dedicated to disseminating art to as wide an audience as possible. Bergen Kunsthall wishes to maintain a varied and continuously up-to-date programme through exhibitions, talks, artist presentations, catalogue publications and a wide range of dissemination activities.
