In ‘’Bains Connective’’ between September 25 - October 15 , 2011 as an Artist in Residence program, Branko Miliskovic will be working on his new durational live performance entitled ‘The Song of a Soldier on Watch’ , inspired by one of the most controversial German love songs ’ Lili Marlene’ popular during the WW2.
‘Lili Marlene’’ was presumably the first song at that time rising fears that could interrupt both , individual and collective emotional resistance of the soldiers on the fronts.
Miliskovic’s residence will highlight on October 15, 2011 when he will be giving a three hours long performance ‘ The Song of a Soldier on Watch ‘ in his studio 1 , at Bains Connective.
This will be the very first performance in Belgium and Worldwide.

Branko Miliskovic (1982 ) Belgrade/Serbia . Studied Art Academy, Belgrade and graduated from Royal Academy of Arts ,The Hague, NL . Miliskovic is dedicated to the Performance creating live images dealing with his national and emotive background. He is working on a durational living images, film and video. Miliskovic sees his work as a linear system of designated and highly self controlled situations in progression through which he is passing , aiming to leave a permanent trace and bring his own standards .
