Donderdag 25 oktober presenteert De Hallen Haarlem het filmprogramma:
Het atelier in beeld: van Hollywoodfilms tot kunstenaarsdocumentaires
In aansluiting op de groepstentoonstelling Studio Verwey, is het thema van de filmavond ‘de kunstenaar in zijn atelier’. Fragmenten uit o.a. Hollywoodfilms en kunstenaarsdocumentaires worden afgewisseld met een gesprek met kunstenaars Amie Dicke en Gabriel Lester.
Om 20:30 start het programma met fragmenten uit onder meer Le Mysère de Picasso, The Big Lebowski, Over Your Cities Grass Will Grow (Anselm Kiefer) en een persoonlijke selectie van avondgasten Amie Dicke en Gabriel Lester.
Voorafgaand presenteert De Hallen Extra om 19:30 een rondleiding door gastcuratoren Michiel van Iersel en Radna Rumping en de kunstenaars Derk Thijs en Sarah Verbeek van Studio Verwey.
Tussen 18:30 en 19:30 is er een vegetarische maaltijd soep voor €5,- van Veldt & Veldt verkrijgbaar.
Entree voor De Hallen Extra is gratis.

Thursday, October 25th De Hallen Haarlem presents the film program:
Framing the studio: from Hollywood movies to artists documentaries
Following the group exhibition Studio Verwey, De Hallen Extra presents a film night about the artist in his studio. Excerpts from films including Hollywood movies and documentaries are interspersed with interviews with artists Amie Dicke and Gabriel Lester.
At 20:30 the program starts with excerpts from Le Mysère de Picasso, The Big Lebowski, Over Your Cities Grass Will Grow (Anselm Kiefer) and a personal film selection of special guests Amie Dicke and Gabriel Lester.
Prior to the film prohgramme you’re invited for a tour through the Studio Verwey exhibition, starting at 19:30 by guest curators Michiel van Iersel and Radna Rumping and artists Derk Thijs and Sarah Verbeek.
Between 18:30 - 19:30 vegetarian meal soup by Veldt & Veldt is available for €5,-
