Paradiso and artist Melanie Bonajo proudly present QU’EST-CE QUE C’EST, a festival where pop music and visual art meet. On Thursday January 23, 2014 Paradiso will host twelve upcoming artist bands, showcasing a generation of young artists who energetically combine art and music.
All the performances have been made specifically for this one night festival and show the successful merging of visual art and pop music.
With performances by: La Chatte (Fr), Constant Dullaart (NL), Mariechen Danz & Unmap (DE), ZaZaZoZo (Melanie Bonajo & Joseph Marzolla) (NL/Fr), Cold Void (Rafaël Rozendaal & Luuk Bouwman) (NL), Burning Fire (NL), echo+seashell (NL/FIN), Blodfet & DJ Lonely (Jonas Ohlsson) (S), BLVEBARD (Maia Lyon Daw) (GB), Baba Electronica (Daniela Bershan) (D), Maria Guggenbichler (DE) and the winner of the Rietveld One Song Competition.
Pop-up performances by: Thundermoon (Hinde Chaâtouf (NL) & Nikki Rosa Ootjers (NL)), Josefin Arnell & Michele Rizzo (S), Janneke Raaphorst (NL) and Dagmar Atladottir (IS).
Karaoke Therapy
Dondergrondse will host the afterparty of QU’EST-CE QUE C’EST. With alternative dj sets, new indie initiatives, underground acts and special Karaoke Therapy.
