Alex Boyce (US)
Catering owner Ferment.
Boyce is from Dover, Delaware. He grew up with hotdogs, hamburgers and pizza. When Alex moved to the Netherlands he came in contact with different kinds of food, especially Kimchi caught his eye. He recognized it because his grandmother used to make it for him back in the USA. He was instantly hooked and liked it very much. His very own kimchi catering startup Ferment. was born and he took it to festivals like Oedipus kimchi festival and Amsterdam food festival, where it was a big succes. Besides the traditional kimchi dish he also makes Kimchi oysters. Now he is on to a new adventure; Oh Na Mi.
