It is difficult to choose. But we choose for you. Go to Baia, 30 km out of Naples (direction north). You can reach it with public transports (Ferrovia Cumana from Montesanto district down in the city old centre). Then, out of the station, ask autostop and arrive at Fondi di Baia, a little valley that is completelly hidden in a portion of the lake-vulcan Campi Flegrei.
Fondi are an agricultural space with few houses. Among those, there is the Tobia's fattoria, and he will cook for you the best vegetables of his fields, with a beautiful menu suitable especially for vegetarians (and you will smell also the sea hidden in these vegetables, because Fondi are so close to it).
Even if not expensive, it is necessary to have reservation. If you like to spend all the day in this area of the city, close to the Ferrovia Cumana Stop of Baia, you have also beautiful terms (Stufe di Nerone). Cumana closes early in the night (9.30 pm). So it is better to organize well the trip with some friends of your travel guide!
