Since, city ordnances have moved most of the streetwalkers out of the area, but the business, albeit in its new incarnation, stayed. The bar and restaurant downstairs is a minimalist affair patterned after a ‘butcher shop in Berlin’. Solid bartenders use a large selection of booze and their imaginations to make creative cocktails and upstairs there are five rooms with a lovingly designed. There is a mini-pool and host of events including art openings, DJs, VJs and any other event deemed hip enough to enter into Boquitas´ colourful interior.
