San Francisco Bath House

The San Francisco Bath House is a Wellington institution and iconic live music venue. An eclectic mid-sized venue, the Bath House is host to nearly every genre, sub genre and micro scene performed by a constant stream of the best from New Zealand and the world. The Bathy has had most of Wellington’s music lovers through its doors. The once traditional rock venue is now attracting music lovers of all denominations.

Originally built as a factory for assembling shoes, the SFBH has been both wrestling gym and unisex bathhouse. Now a mid-sized live music venue and bar, the Bath House is also a popular mid-week spot due in part to its open-air balcony and drink specials.
