Sur Place
Sur Place is coming to an end. The exhibition on urban bike culture attracted dare devils, housewives, hipsters and bicycle fanatics. But we haven't closed yet. Our bike track is holding up like a true champ, and the Goldsprint bikes are oiled and ready to be used. Come down to Mediamatic Bank, and party with us one last time.
Friday, August 13
20.00 - 23.00
MeBike celebrates the bicycle in all its clean and cool glory. Various teams will build their own dream bike from scratch, and race against each other. On Friday, the teams will be introduced. Expect live music, performances and fireworks.
Saturday, August 14
11.00 - late
During the day the MeBike teams will be working on their dream bikes. There will be performances, bands and dj's. In the evening we've got the MeBike race and ceremony. Fashion performance by Milena Heussler (Vienna), Girls on Bikes showing legging designs, and at midnight Subbacultcha! will open their After Midnight exhibition. Hounds of Hate are over from London to play some "out there, free synth music,” and Strange Boutique will be spinning some records.

MeBike & After Midnight takes place at Mediamatic Bank, Vijzelstraat 68 in Amsterdam. Friday 13 and Saturday 14 August. Free entrance.
