Currently, he is working on an ongoing project called New Eelam, in which he builds a futurist version of Eelam, the native Tamil name of Sri Lanka. In this utopian world housing property is approached as a collective responsibility. In the 2017 exhibition “moving is in every direction” in the Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin, this artwork will be enriched with an aquaponics system, for which he collaborated with artist/curator Annika Kehlmann and Mediamatic.
