Emma Tornsteinrud is a graduate in Fashion from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. She is interested in the place where dreams and reality merge – from the little lichens that grow on trees to the fables she grew up with. She is interested in deconstructing the categorical distinction between nature and culture, animal and man, organic and artificial - since this is to ignore how intrinsically the worlds of life and death are connected.
