This woolen Gunya is dyed with fungi. One of the major problems in the fashion industry is water pollution caused by harmful textile dyes. During the research, Ilse Krermer (Fabulous Fungi) found different fungal species that create pigments which can be used for dyeing. The fungal dye has many benefits over synthetic textile dye and other alternatives.
