A/artist roundtable:
Before we started hosting regular public events in 2023, the A/artist project was mainly based around biweekly invitation-only roundtable discussions with a group of neurodivergent artists and researchers from the close Mediamatic network. Since they regularly contributed their time and insights to the project, the people from this roundtable list still receive free tickets to our upcoming public events, and their contact info is gathered in this mailing list. The people from the A/artist roundtable list are also among those who most regularly attend our events. Many of them presented their work before during these roundtables, so you might recognise them from somewhere on the blog!
Discord
We are trying to build a more engaged and expansive A/artist network on Discord, the A/artist server.
We aim to post new blog posts, upcoming events, and interactive discussions on the Discord. If you have any ideas for how we could improve this, please share that in the meetings and we can start implementing them!
Event participants
All of our events are open to all participants: neurodivergent/neurotypical, student/artist/careerperson.
We prioritise marketing our events to art students, as our current project focus is how to make art education in NL more accessible and inclusive!
