Pixel Paradise - Pixel Paradise is a traveling musical live installation with VR visuals. Embracing digitalization as a tool for creating truly immersive ambiguity. Initiated by its makers to be mobile and scalable for all situations. Tibor de Jong is best known under the pseudonym Nemo Vos. He is an Utrecht-based artist and graduate of St. Joost School of Art & Design Breda. Nemo Vos creates poetic work using 3D software, scans, and film. In his work, both the physical and visual aspects of VR are utilized to explore a new way of storytelling. Kamiel Rongen, also known as Waterballet, explores his creativity in Pixel Paradise, a multidisciplinary exhibition where hypnotic VR films merge with a fitting live synth set.

It's the longest day of the year, an astronomical phenomenon that has held great significance since the dawn of humanity. The day when Stonehenge and summer love carry the same meaning, where Shakespeare wrote a play about and Holland and Barett offer a two-for-one sale.

It's the day when spirituality and exact science extend a hand to each other. Pixel Paradise and Mediamatic celebrate this day with Heliotropic harmony, a holistic live ceremony in VR. Where the digital and analogue; the present, the future, and the past; the microscopic and the immense; the sperm and the egg; the banal and the endlessly complex embrace each other, and we can all sigh. It's finally truly summer.

Join us in the Sluisdeurenloods for a holistic VR experience with live sound design by Kamiel Rongen.
