Saturday mornings is the day this market is imposed upon the city of Rio. It's not the typical popular market in other the academies and squares of sport around the city, but the type of market that exercises creativity and is fun for all ages. Take a walk in the Fair of Exchanges of Square XV, in the Center of the River. A known market since the since mid-70's, the Fair of Exchanges happens all day Saturday, from 5 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon, underneath of the viaduct of Square XV. In the beginning, people took house objects that they not want anymore and exchanged with the barraqueiros for new objects of desire and other curious items.
