If a poll was taken in the Brazilian-Japanese community in Rio, Azumi would win as the most authentic Japanese restaurant in the city. It also serves some unique dishes such as caramelized grasshopper. Serving outlandish food contributes to the under-the-radar feel that the restaurant holds - crazy food is not for everyone, but those that appreciate it are never sorry they went to Azumi.
