The world is a small place, globalization is at its height, social media is here to stay, and the communications industry is increasingly required to transcend borders – geographical, cultural, and more. How do brands stay authentic whilst reflecting universal values we can all identify with? Is ‘think global, act local’ the only answer? How does this effect brand communications? And who cares anyway?
PR Salon: ‘PR Without Frontiers’ brings together thought leaders from the worlds of Advertising, PR, Branding and Marketing to look at what globalization means for both the PR industry and the communications industry as a whole.
Speakers:
Stephen Corlett, Managing Director, 180 Amsterdam
Stein Janssen, Head of Strategy, BSUR
Alexandra Kedward, Global PR Manager, Philips Consumer Lifestyle
Peter von Satzger, PR Director North-Europe Youth & Music, Viacom

With Stein as Strategy Director, the global campaign for MINI was awarded a Silver Lion and BSUR’s work for Britvic Fruit Shoot won a Bronze Effie.
