RIH experiment after "Old Faithful" late 90s

Mr. Wim van der Kaaij told me that this unconventional track bike was built after Greame Obree broke Francesco Mosers hour record on a home built bike in 1992. This RIH has geometry similar to "Old Faithful", Obree's bike. It was never used in races because the cycling federation declared this geometry unreglementary after Obree's victory. Mr van der Kaaij keeps it in his shop for historical ereasons although he calls it "ugly and heavy".
