Bakfiets Invasie

The cargo bike invasion of Noord has begun. Ten years ago the amount of cargo bikes in Amsterdam Centrum started to rise. This particular bike is associated with prosperity, a high education and physical well being. It's the direct opposite of the Canta, a mini-car that was introduced for the physically disabled, but has developed into a poor man's car. De fiets wordt geassocieerd met welvaart, een hoge opleiding en een gezonde leefstijl. Hij is de tegenpool van de Canta, de mini-auto die voor mindervaliden werd geïntroduceerd en nu populair is als “poor man's car”. Beide voertuigen zijn toegestaan op de pont.
