The Paper-Ensemble is a music ensemble founded by Jochem van Tol for up to 4 players and a series of paper instruments that emerged from 2 years of research with the main question: “What are the musical possibilities of paper, and is it possible to make sounds that speak to the imagination?” “Could paper also except all noise produce tones?” The result is a serie of five instruments.
