The Girlfriend Experience was part of the exhibition Videojuegos which took place in Centro Fundacion Telefonica in Lima from July 22 till October 4, 2009. During the first 5 days of the exhibition you could play with the 4 avatars via skype at home or live at the exhibition space. After these days, you could get an impression of what happened during the opening with the avatars via 4 small screens, installed in the exhibition space.
Other participants of the exhibition were: Tale of Tales, Brody Condon, Julian Oliver, OMA internacional, Bill Viola, Yuichiro Katsumoto, Ludic Society, Joseph DeLappe, Eddo Stern and thatgamecompany.
