Saturday, October 29 - Day 2: Energy of Art and Future of Energy
During 20-minute presentations Sascha Pohflepp, Liam Young and Martti Kalliala will talk about how their work as artists, designers, and architects is rooted in energy. How does energy influence our conception of beauty and politics? Followed by a Q&A, moderated by Katja Novitskova and Rory Hyde, and drinks.
Sunday, October 30 - Day 3: Post Carbonism, How Did We Do It?!?
Eva Gladek, industrial ecologist and director of Except Integrated Sustainability, on self-sufficient urban food production, the future of urban resource management, and waste cycles. The New Order Workshop Team will present their visions of the 'post-carbon' world - a social order in which energy will take center stage. How will this effect the ways in which we interact, and the value systems we are immersed in? Q&As with, among others, Koert van Mensvoort. Moderated by Katja Novitskova and Rory Hyde. Drinks and music after.

New Order Fest takes place at Mediamatic Bank, Vijzelstraat 68 Amsterdam. Entrance fee is €2,- per night excl. membership. Doors open at 20.00, program starts at 20.30.
New Order Fest is part of an exhibition and event series called New Order. New Order imagines a post-carbon world in which we have managed to solve, overcome, or survive the critical threats to the current social order. What will our post-carbon world look like?
