Perform the act of swapping and trade food for Playmobil

This weekend at Ruilen

This weekend there will be two different takes on the theme of swapping both with a longing for play. The SwapUpShop is giving their third workshop - Perform - for people who wish to turn swapping theories into action. Next up, Pet van de Luijtgaarden is back to exchange his impressive collection of Playmobil for homemade or preserved edibles.

SwapUpShop: Perform

Together with professional actors, participants will learn how to turn critical debate into tangible actions. We will work together with fellow workshoppers and write several scenarios that deal with the notion of exchange in relation to labour. the workshop takes place on Saturday, from 13.00 to 17.30. Participation is free (except entrance to the exhibition) and snacks and drinks will be taken care of. Please subscribe by writing an email to checkin@swapupshop.com

Food for Playmobil

Pet is ready to break free from his enormous collections, and has decided to swap part of his Playmobil for freezable and fresh food this Sunday, from 14.00 to 18.00. RSVP here. As expected, he has a broad variety of Playmobil to offer, from dolls and animals to accessories. The swapping session is of course not only for nostalgic adults, but also for parents with Playmobil-craving children, looking for Christmas presents without acquiring new plastic. If you were always more of a LEGO fan, be patient - Pet will be back to swap this part of his collection next week.
