Arduino and Processing workshops

18 October and 8 November

We have scheduled our renowned Arduino and Processing workshops again, which will give you a firm runway from which to launch your new ventures. During the Arduino workshop you will learn everything you need to know about this little miracle I/O board. After only a day you'll be able to start working on your own projects with enough know-how and self confidence. If you're interested in making beautiful visual imagery or data-visualisations: Processing is what you need to know. This open-source programming language is the best there is. Find out more on our website.

Arduino workshop

The workshop starts from scratch - what is an Arduino, how does it work, how do I program it, how can I integrate it into my own projects? The afternoon starts with a general introduction, and moves on to the hardware aspects, followed by a crash course in programming. Find out more about the workshop, the kit and tickets here.

Processing Workshop

This workshop will teach you the basics of computer programming. We'll start with the fundamentals of computer graphics (pixels, digital color, and coordinate systems) and focus on the core concepts of computation (variables, conditionals, iteration, functions, and objects). In addition, we'll touch on some more advanced techniques such as text parsing, image processing, networking, and computer vision. Click here for more information about the workshop and ticket(s).
