Bas is mostly interested in connecting personal stories with official stories (taxonomies). For him it is all about how to combine subjective and objective systems. And Mediamatic created the right context to explore these topics. Most valuable for Bas were the unofficial talks that he had with the other workshop participants. “It’s about the people you meet, and the ideas you exchange. In that sense the group was ideal, because diverse: people with an artistic background, people with a technical background, people with a more theoretical approach and interaction designers, like me."
