Dey Kim

Dey Kim is a composer with a background in microbiology from Seoul, South Korea, now based in The Hague, Netherlands.

Dey Kim started his musical career in early 00s as a guitarist and a composer at a shoegazing band. Then, he turned to be a singer-songwriter (‘Goyo’ as a stage name) and has released several albums from 2009.

As a biotechnology research scientist, Dey Kim’s life was dedicated to study environmental microbiology and bioprocess engineering for many years.

Recently, Dey Kim is extremely interested in the point of intersection of art and (bio)technology. He is mainly focusing onto applying microbiological techniques in order to compose electronic music.
