Preying on students and neighborhood folk, Santropol is one of those cafes you spend three hours in when you were meant to have a productive day.
Of note is the fact that one can choose from more than 20 sandwiches and more than 20 types of tea.
All their food tastes healthy and fresh, the decor is kitsch, and whimsical literature lines the walls for any diner to pick up (or if you're more inclined, retro board games).

Santropol Roulant
This is the admirable bit of Santropol - their community organization that works with mostly young people to deliver food to the Montreal's elderly population, which is the most isolated in Canada.
