Walk down the Oudegracht in eastern direction and find this well-hidden shopping street. Several deli's offer you the finest Dutch cheese, best sushi or local biological treats. But also an Albert Heijn, old-school snackbar, flowershop and liqorstore can be found here.
Stop over to have a high-tea, beer or ice-cream; it can all be found in this street. And check out Transit and Guru's if you want to wear what noone else is wearing.
Don't forget to walk down the steps towards the Oudegracht and enjoy the sudden peace of Twijnstraat aan de Werf. End your stroll in one of the bars on the Ledig Erf- square. But don't try to count all the bicycles passing, your time there is better spend counting your beers.
