Vincent Steurs
Interaction Designer
In October 2009 I graduated with distinction as Msc. Design for Interaction (DfI) at the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering (IDE) at the Delft University of Technology with an appendix of 'Technology in Sustainable Development'.
For my graduation project I worked at Waag Society on the Personal Travel Assistant, a mobile application for getting around in The Netherlands. The PTA supports you in finding your way, meeting up with friends, traveling along, finding a nice bar or the closest supermarket and much more.
I am a finalist in the IxDA global student competition for what I submitted a process-book about the PTA project. Between Feb. 3 and 7 2010, I will be presenting my work in the Interaction10 conference in Savannah, where I also will participate in a 24h design challenge competing with the other finalists.
I have studied in Antwerp and Barcelona and organized a research project to Argentina for 30 IDE students. Furthermore I have been active for many years in 'Scouts & Gidsen Vlaanderen' for what I am certified Instructor in youth work.
Currently I'm living in Buenos Aires
Cheers,
Vincent
