Badlands is the successor of Atari's Super Sprint and Championship Sprint. Despite heavy competition from Super Off Road when released on Spectrum, the game was rightfully included in the Midway Arcade Treasures collection for Playstation 2, Xbox and PC between 2005 and 2006.

Badlands must be one of the most fun racing games out there. The two steering wheels offer such nice game play that it's hard for anyone not to get swept up in the race. Not only do you race each other, but you can also shoot at each other with torpedoes. However, you have to focus on finishing in good time, because there's a third car racing too. Badlands was published by Atari Games in 1989.
