We aim to produce excellent quality visual artists, by application of traditional and contemporary technologies in art production; to enrich the art production in the Republic of Macedonia and to contribute in affirmation of its visual heritage and culture. One of the most important goals of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje is collaboration with other Fine Art and Design Universities, Academies and Faculties in the world, thus encouraging international mobility and cooperation both of students and teachers by different kinds of exchanges (mobility programs, exhibitions, workshops, lectures, etc.). We also organize lectures and workshops with invited artists, art teachers and other art professionals.
In May or June the Faculty of Fine Arts-Skopje opens its doors to the public for its annual students exhibition. Every year we also organize a competitional printmaking exhibition and other thematic competitions and exhibitions. One of the most important exhibitional activity is the Student International Art Biennial – SIAB, open for all graduate and post graduate students from all over the world.
