Club Internet is een online galerie opgericht door Harm van Dorpel. Verschillende curatoren worden uitgenodigd een expositie samen te stellen. De galerie is gesloten wanneer er een nieuwe expositie opgebouwd wordt. Wat maakt kunst geschikt voor een internetgalerie en over wat voor kunst hebben we het dan? Harm presenteert zijn nieuwste expositie.
Found tapes exhibion – Harold Schellinx. presentation of an evolving exhibition of cast-away sounds
Harold Schellinx is wiskundige, muzikant, performer en media-kunstenaar. In de Found Tapes Exhibition (’Voddebandjes tenhoorstelling’) documenteert Harold Schellinx sinds medio 2002, in de vorm van een online reisdagboek, het magnetische audiobandjes afval dat hij - letterlijk - op zijn weg vindt.
Remote control / democracy player - Linda Hilfling
REMOTE CONTROL / DEMOCRACY PLAYER is a critical reflection on participatory media through participatory media. The transmission space of a local TV channel, tv-tv in Copenhagen, is extended into the living room of the TV viewers. Through a web-interface the viewer becomes able to remote control the entire TV transmission, which becomes a TV program in its literal meaning: a software executing TV transmissions, where the code of the software in itself reflects on and parodies traditional models of democratic organization. In REMOTE CONTROL / DEMOCRACY PLAYER the participation process is never a smooth open access, but rather a patch work of negotiations mirroring conflicts between the individual participants as well as a given mode of control. The project problematizes control mechanisms, participation processes and the paradox of so called democratic media in a time where ‘nobody’ any longer watches TV and ‘everybody’ has a YouTube account.

Re:visie:lab is een plek waar audiovisuele kunstenaars, filmmakers en nieuwe media-kunstenaars hun werk laten zien. Het is een podium voor presentatie, debat en onderzoek dat in het seizoen 2008-2009 vier keer plaats vindt in Theater Kikker te Utrecht. Professionele makers kunnen hier audiovisuele en nieuwe media projecten presenteren en bespreken en studenten kunnen hun projecten aanmelden. Ook ‘work-in-progress’ presentaties zijn mogelijk.
