Robin van ’t Haar
Robin van ’t Haar (1974, Dalfsen, lives and works in Amsterdam), observes the everyday behaviour of people in (semi)public spaces. He ‘ritualizes’ actions of people as they wait for the subway, grocery shop, mail a letter or simply walk down the street. Van ’t Haar directs the viewer’s attention towards the mundane events of daily life that we might not notice on a conscious level. Van ’t Haar seeks to give new meaning to these subconscious patterns of everyday life using photographic installations, free spread press works, weblogs or maquettes.
