What exactly will the effect of embedded journalism, the ordinary guy with his blog, digital camera, or worse, just his telephone, be on photojournalism? What will be the medium of choice for war coverage in the future? A day of lectures, presentations and discussions.

Henri Beunders (Professor History of Media and Culture, Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam), Kari Andén- Papadopoulos (Research fellow Dept. Journalism, Media and Communication Studies, Stockholm University), Brigitte van der Sande (art historian and curator of the exhibition Soft Target, War as Daily, First Hand Reality (BAK, Utrecht)), Nico Haasbroek (journalist, former reporter of the NOS journaal), Bas Vroege (directeur Paradox) en Edie Peters (teaches image editing at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, formerly editor in chief of the photography of de Volkskrant).

Costs:
