Flemish photographer Barbara Iweins has been photographing people on the streets of Amsterdam for a while. She takes an hour or two per week to go bother these beautiful human beings at the corner of her house and takes pictures of their heads and legs.

Combined, these pictures do not only make a beautiful exhibition, but also a fun and entertaining memory game.

The gorgeous photographs of people from all nationalities are and were photographed in the streets of Amsterdam during 2009 and 2010. The people all have an ‘intangible something’, that reflects into their expression. Based on the clothing, the attitudes and backgrounds of the people in the photographs, players of the Street Style Memory Game can join the slightly enlarged faces with the rest of the bodies. Pairing off the sections is great fun for anyone who is interested in street fashion or just for any old-fashioned game addict.

The exhibition and launch of the memory game will be held on September 3 at Streetlab Projectspace (Meneer de Wit), Postjesweg 2 in Amsterdam. Music and drinks from 20.00-24.00 hours.
