Gianfranco Bertone (physicist)
"The hunt for dark matter particles is taking place internationally at full speed", says Gianfranco. He recently published "Behind the Scenes of the Universe - From the Higgs to Dark Matter" with Oxford University Press. Drawing from art and literature, he illustrates the far-reaching implications of the discovery of Dark Matter.

Yuri Landman (luthier)
Yuri is an experimental luthier and musician. Instruments with names such as the 18-String Bi-headed Droning Guitar and the Moodswinger, have found homes with musicians like Liars and Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth. With a keen ear for noise and mind for theory, you might catch Yuri on stage with a 25-meter string instrument, or giving a lecture on string resonance, physics, and microtonal scaling. Tonight will be somewhere in between.

BrowserBased: Radovan Misovic (artist)
The Internet is the upcoming medium in art and design, and central media for all communication for art spaces, discourse, (re)presentation and research. Most of all, the internet is and will be a progressively dominant influence on art. BrowserBased, operating physically from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, is partly a material / technically oriented platform dealing with the browser based context, and partly a net-culture knowledge base. The aim is to embed the participant into the internet art culture and let him/her actively contribute. From the BrowserBased research group will be with us tonight, Radovan, with a few keen insights into Bitcoin.
