Treacle Mustard

You do have a critical distance

The answer you planted into the fifteenth of thirty plant beds in the Dijksgracht park, part of the Twijfel Zaaien/Raising Doubts project.

Latin name: Erysimum Cheiranthoides
Artist family: Modernist

Colour: Yellow

Where was this made?:

The striking yellow colour of this flower confesses that in front of us stands a true rebel whom never go unnoticed. It is a quite tall and imposing plant, growing to about 70 cm high above. It doesn't want to blend in, searching to expand its personal boundaries and even break social taboos while in its quest. Treacle Mustard’s seeds have the shape of little arrows: they are always pointing
to the sky, towards its victory.
