Porcelain Bike Jump is a documentary and video clip at the same time. It is a short version of an art happening. The american artist Candy Depew had made a porcelain bike. She wanted Fish (a.k.a. Steven Vis) to jump this bike into the water as an art performance. She asked several cameramen to film this happening. One of them was Robert Bolwijn. He agreed to film the jump of this Porcelain Bike with his camera but he also wanted to film everything else that was going on that beautiful summers day for his own project. This documentary is the result which he edited on surf music.
