Ikikik! concerned DIY fashion and online publishing. It was a continuing exhibition, sewing studio, and story sharing party. All with the aim of looking ravishing on- and offline, while keeping the ecological footprint as small as possible. Activist- and fashion collective Andrea Crews came over from Paris to help us out. With their help, visitors turned 430.000 kilo's of recycled clothing into designer pieces. This was a reference to the 430.000 euros of funding Mediamatic might lose. Photo: Katja Novitkova.
