During this workshop you will learn how to make your own natural soap from scratch. You are guided into making your first own block, and learn how to do it yourself. Under expert eyes of product designer Liza Witte, this 5 hour workshop covers a broad range of natural soap making, from material knowledge to how to transform oil into soap, to different recipes, smells and tastes. Using only exclusive, delicious and nourishing vegetable oils, this workshop uses no animal products, and is also suitable for vegans.
At the end of the workshop you will gain enough knowledge to start making your own soap later on and take home about 1kg (10 pieces of 100g), of your own handmade soap.
Liza Witte works on the intersection of Art and cosmetics. Being a product designer by profession, she now focuses solely on olfactory design, soaps and body oil. She has extensive experience with cooking natural soaps and uses only natural products. With her Silhouette Collection, she designed a series of perfume bottles, that are both interior fragrances, but can be used as soaps as well. For the Hoxton Hotel in Amsterdam she designed a line of shampoo, body milk and -of course- soap.
