Anastasia Loginova

For this event, Anastasia will give a lecture on how she experienced talking and reading to plants. After her lecture, she will screen the premiere of Cabbage-the Movie, a short film made in collaboration with Raphael Fischer-Dieskau. She read to cabbages at Mediamatic last year as part of the Russian Old New Year Celebration. Check it out here

Anastasia Loginova was born in Cuba to Russian parents and raised in Cyprus. In her performances she likes to use her body as vessel to communicate with different beings and connect different worlds.

Michal Mitro 

For coming Saturday he will create an interactive sound/light installation especially designed for our Night Garden room. There will be loads of interesting plants, lights and sounds. Come and experience this breathtaking installation! 

Michal Mitro aka plankton vs flying animal is a visual artist, composer and performer operating and collaborating on the edge of visual and sonic art, utilising space and time as the main medium of expression.

Tony Guarino 

Tony is an instigator of sonic experiments. Linguistic collisions, territorial noise, and polyrhythmic disembodiment are current points of interest stemming from a background in percussion and electronic music.

Come join us in this parallel universe accompanied by dreamy DJ sets and botanical dancing to keep your winter hearts warm! Using the series Mediamatic will foster a better understanding and establish communication between people and indoor plants. Learning together through playing, interactive exploration and entertainment.
