I was trying to save it but was already doomed to fail. The gum slowly lost its stickiness due to the dry soil. The chewing gum was saturated with the earth and changed the whole texture. The substance felt pliable and dry at the same time. The material didn't look that appealing.
The material was moulded in many strange models to examine the limitations. In the end, I had an organic object with a hoop. Then instinctively pressed/placed the flower seeds into the substance. Giving the seeds a chance to sprout, I applied the same method as with "Chewable Plants". It wasn't supposed to be a wearable piece, but can be considered in a way. However, this wearable object may look solid but is somewhat frail, which makes it almost impossible to wear.
After one night, the saliva had evaporated entirely. As a result, the experiment not only shrank but also lost its shine. It even felt a bit stronger. It was not long before I recreated the material to model new designs with it.
Eventually, I decided to bury these precious little objects to see if the flowers would grow.
