For Beftival, Jinnie Ahn and Julia Leis Lap created a video that shows the over-sexualisation of both the animal body as a way to sell it as food and the female body. This causes a new level of degradation and objectification of the animal/women’s body.

Using the heteronormative perspective of the viewer and the viewed, they took inspiration from the over-saturated, endless advertisements that are guilty of this oppressive topic.

Still from video by Jinnie Ahn and Julia Leis on over-sexualisation of the animal body as a way to sell it as food. - This causes a new level of degradation and objectification of the animal/women’s body as it is sold as something men are entitled to eat and abuse.

This event is part of Beftival during Museumnacht Amsterdam.
