Soup of Sadness
Get to know our Sin Eaters Dinner!
In this photo, our guest was welcomed into the restaurant and invited some bread and grapes while eating the first course of the evening, the soup of Sadness. Here, our guest is smiling after realising that in order to eat the soup, the spoon she was given has a hole in the middle, a sad experience she finds joy about.
The Sin Eaters is a 8-course dinner explores how the natural world can be harnessed to achieve balance in body and mind, according to Hildegard von Bingen. Thereby the dinner focusses on 8 deadly sins. From anger to lust and from gluttony to pride, each dark emotion turns into an edible spectacle that gives the opportunity to eat away your sins.
