BlindRom v.0.9 (1993) is the first and pioneering example of CD-ROM art. The wayward design and structure were completely new at the time and are still inspiring today. Submerge in Kaap’s parallel world, as an active participant, lost between poetic texts and hacked images. BlindRom was awarded first prize during the Berlinale: "an anarchic intervention into interactive technology, the personal and the social combine in this fragmentary and kaleidoscopic work.”
During the tour you can also lie down in the Chill Cave (1992), a special bed device, first developed for Artlab 2 in Tokyo, then shown in Europe in both exhibitions and clubs (like the RoXY). Under the watchful eye of a host (m/f/+) you are taken on a trip towards a mystical peak experience.
