What will you do

You will begin this workshop with a walk looking for knotweed near the Mediamatic biotoop, followed by a small introduction about the history of Japanese knotweed and their properties. The workshop will teach you how to find the plant in an urban environment, which is knowledge that you could pass onto your local neighborhood.
After foraging a few knotweeds, together with Lynn Shore, you will learn how to make a tincture and how to ferment with the different parts of the plant. You will leave the workshop with a deeper knowledge of knotweed, a knotweed tincture, and a fermentation set.

This workshop will take place outside in all weathers, as it is important to get fresh air in the sun and rain. Please come prepared!
