The Cinematheque was inaugurated in March of 2007. A great destination here in Rio, they function within the community to take a more interested glance at Brazilian Contemporary Music. We promote in this a common meeting ground, theatre expositions, projects, samples of cinema and other manifestations of art. Architects meet here and focus on the fusing of styles and performances. The journalists, custodians and producers Daniel K, Leo Feijó and Rodrigo Young share of the same philosophy: to take a chance on beginning artists, to carry through persistent launchings and to shelter parallel projects of names with a broader perspective whenever possible. We show (a little more) to the world the face (and the voice) of figures that represent Carioca music contemporary.
