Through 2012, Museum De Paviljoens programmes under the general title The Dutch Identity?. 31 October 2010 sees the opening of the second exhibition in the series, featuring installations and video works by Moniek Toebosch (Breda, 1948), Alicia Framis (Barcelona, 1967), Gabriel Lester (Amsterdam, 1972) and Jennifer Tee (Arnhem, 1973). Each selection within The Dutch Identity? offers a specific perspective on contemporary Dutch art and the social, cultural and geographical setting in which this art has its origins.

Lecture by Nikos Papastergiadis, Professor Cultural Studies and Media & Communications at The University of Melbourne and the author of, amongst other works, Spatial Aesthetics: Art, Place and the Everyday (2006) and Dialogues in the Diasporas: Essays and Conversations on Cultural Identity (1998). Followed by the book presentation of Local Myths / Love Spells (2010 by Jennifer Tee.
